July 1 Launch of Count It -- CUL's new statistics-gathering system

I’m pleased to announce that Count It—CUL’s new statistics-gathering system was launched on July 1st.  This system replaces both RSRS and ISRS and becomes CUL's statistics-gathering method of record for reference, outreach, and instruction activities.  The system has been extensively tested and roundly approved; staff has been trained and documentation developed.  The official URL for Count It is: http://countit.library.cornell.edu

I also would like to acknowledge the outstanding work of the Public Services Measures Implementation Team (Keith Jenkins; Elena MacGurn, chair; Linda Miller; Susette Newberry, and Leah Solla) who developed an elegant solution for a complex environment—and did it all in a very short timeframe.    The Team is interested in your feedback and will be glad to respond to any questions you may have as you beging using the system.  Please don't hesitate to contact the team members at countit@cornell.edu.

Please join me in thanking Keith, Elena, Linda, Susette and Leah for their leadership in helping us not only “count ‘em” but also develop a better understanding of our audiences and the services that support them!
