Please send all requests for facilities services to cul-fachelp-l@cornell.edu. This includes repair work, key requests, voice and data changes, maintenance issues and cleaning requests. Note: For emergencies involving life safety, contact CU Police by dialing 911 from any campus phone or 255-1111 from any cell phone. For emergencies involving potential damage to library property, please continue to contact Ron Clark (327-0282), Adam Spry (254-5767) or Phil Koons (227-5726) directly.

Reserve an OKU Library meeting room?

There are several meeting rooms available to staff in Olin, Kroch, and Uris. To reserve a meeting room, call 255-3393 to check availability and make a reservation, or look on Outlook Calendars. General guidelines for room use and room descriptions are available.

Reserve the Olin Library video conference equipment?

The video conference equipment can be reserved through Library Administration at 255-3393 or libadmin@cornell.edu. The equipment is configured to work in 106G, 201, and 703 Olin Library, as well as 2B48 and 2B49 Kroch Library.

Reserve a meeting room on campus?

If you have a meeting or event and would like to reserve a space on campus (outside of the library), refer to the list at:  http://registrar.sas.cornell.edu//Sched/roomres.html.

Submit content to be displayed on the Olin Library Digital Sign?

If you have an upcoming library event that you would like to see promoted on the Olin Library Digital Sign, submit your request by e-mailing libcomm@cornell.edu or online at http://communications.library.cornell.edu/com/Writing-about-the-Library, and someone will respond within one week.

Submit content to be displayed on the Mann Library lobby kiosk LCD screen?

Only academic content will be considered for display, and priority is given to slides which advertise academic events, accomplishments or opportunities from the Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Human Ecology. Once your slide is prepared according to the guidelines, it should be submitted to mann-lcd-l@cornell.edu for consideration.

Promote a new event or service?

Library Communications can help you promote items or events to users and other target audiences. Your submissions may be appropriate to use as a bulletin on Olin Library’s digital display, an announcement on the homepage of the Library Web site, an item on the Communications Web site, a short article in a weekly Cornell Chronicle column about the Library, and more. If you are interested in other, more in-depth communications, please contact LibComm@cornell.edu.

Reserve the Library van?

Call Shipping and Receiving at 255-3829 to check availability and reserve blocks of time. The keys may be picked up from Shipping and Receiving in 2B07 Uris Library during their regular business hours. Before being allowed to use the Library van, however, all drivers must be pre-approved by completing the Driving History Questionnaire.

If you would like help with creating a new Web site or development project, complete this request form. After the form is completed it will be emailed to managers in DLIT and Library Communications. You should receive a response within two business days and a meeting to talk about your request will be held as soon as possible.
